Muñoz is the party's coordinator in the Balearic Islands and its secretary for housing. She has served in Congress before and took part in the Global Sumud Flotilla in support of Gaza, the party said.

She is also seeking another run at Palma City Council. In early September, Muñoz said she would enter Podemos's primaries to lead its ticket again in the municipal elections scheduled for May 2027.
