Mallorca’s Port d’Andratx and nine other ports get two more years of cleaning under a 2.1 million euro contract extension. The deal runs from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2028 and covers port facilities and public areas. The Balearic Government’s Ministry of the Sea and Water Cycle has extended the contract through PortsIB.

The other ports are Port de Sóller, Port de Pollença, Cala Rajada, Cala Bona, Porto Cristo, Portocolom, Portopetro, Cala Figuera and the Colònia de Sant Jordi. Cleaning also continues at smaller harbour facilities in Sant Elm, Valldemossa, es Barcarès and s’Estanyol.

Servicios Industriales Reunidos, S.A.U. keeps the work. It has held the contract since September 2024, and the ministry says a report from the contract manager found its work over the past two years satisfactory. This is the first extension allowed under the contract; a second, lasting one year, is also possible.
