The Balearic Islands could see showers on Wednesday, 14 October. A moderate northerly wind, known as the tramontana, will also blow across the north of the island group before easing later, according to Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Moisture from the Mediterranean is bringing thick cloud and showers to the far south-east of mainland Spain. The rain could be locally heavy along parts of the Murcia and Almería coasts, and some showers may extend to the Balearic Islands.
