Mallorca: Prohens to meet Iceland envoy and Redmadre

Balearic president Marga Prohens has two meetings at the Consolat de Mar in Palma, Mallorca, on Friday: Iceland’s ambassador to Spain at 13.00, then representatives of Redmadre Mallorca at 13.30.

The first meeting is with ambassador Kristján Andri Stefánsson. Francisca Ramis, director-general for Institutional Relations and Relations with Parliament, and Iceland’s honorary consul in the Balearic Islands, Joaquín Gual de Torrella, will also attend.

Redmadre Mallorca provides information and support to pregnant women facing difficulties. Its president, Maria Bel Riera, will attend the second meeting alongside treasurer Maria Amparo Chirona and volunteer Marta Oliver. Sandra Fernández, the Balearic minister for Families, Social Welfare and Dependency Care, will also be there.
