Prohens heads to Madrid for Spain’s national day parade

Balearic Islands president Marga Prohens is due in Madrid on Monday for Spain’s national day celebrations. A flag tribute and military parade come first; a reception at the Royal Palace follows. The Balearic Islands government says she will watch the tribute and parade at 11.00 from the stand in Plaza Cánovas del Castillo.
After the parade, Prohens will go to the Royal Palace with other officials. There, the King and Queen will host the reception, completing her programme in Madrid.
