Rafa Nadal returns to Manacor court after retirement
Rafa Nadal returns to the court in Manacor on Saturday 3 October 2026 for exhibition matches marking the Rafa Nadal Academy’s tenth anniversary. The 22-time Grand Slam winner will play alongside rivals and friends from his career. It will be his first match in front of a crowd since he retired from professional tennis.
Nadal last played professionally at the Davis Cup Finals in Málaga in November 2024. The Rafa Nadal Academy Slam opens the anniversary celebrations for the academy, which was founded in Manacor in 2016.
The academy will name the other players in the coming days, along with ticket-sale details. Tickets will be limited because of the Centre Court’s capacity.
Movistar Plus will show Nadal’s return live. The academy now has eight centres worldwide: Manacor, Greece, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Marbella, Egypt, Punta Cana and Costa Mujeres.
