Mallorca rain warning: 20 litres in an hour possible

Mallorca’s north and north-east face a yellow rain warning on Monday, 12 October, with up to 20 litres per square metre possible in an hour. The warning runs from 03.00 to 09.59. Menorca faces the same warning and possible rainfall during those hours.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) says the warning returns to Mallorca in the afternoon, but moves to the island’s interior and south. It runs there from 14.00 to 18.59. The agency gives no rainfall figure for the afternoon warning.
