Mallorca rain warning as heavy showers threaten Balearics

Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, faces a rain warning on Saturday, 31 October, with heavy showers possible across the islands. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) also has rain warnings in place for Granada and Valencia.
Moist air from the Mediterranean is moving in under a high-pressure system over continental Europe. Together with unstable conditions higher up, it could bring heavy rain that lasts longer in some places. Skies across the affected areas are expected to be mostly cloudy or overcast.
Temperatures in the Balearics are expected to change little. Winds over the Mediterranean will be mostly moderate.
