Mallorca rain warning: up to 20 litres per square metre

Mallorca’s north and north-east face a yellow rain warning overnight into Monday, with up to 20 litres per square metre possible in an hour. Menorca is under the same warning. It runs from 03.00 to 09.59 in both areas, according to information from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) consulted by Europa Press.
The warning then shifts across Mallorca. It comes back into force for the island’s interior and south on Monday afternoon, from 14.00 to 18.59. The forecast figure of up to 20 litres per square metre in an hour applies to the earlier warning for Menorca and northern and north-eastern Mallorca.
