Ibiza airport road shut as red weather alert continues

Sant Josep, Ibiza: a red weather alert keeps the airport road closed between kilometre markers 3 and 5.5 in both directions on Monday, 19 October. The street of des Vedrà and des Vedranell in es Cubells is also closed to traffic.
Sant Josep council says its municipal emergency plan remains in force after it was activated on Sunday. Council staff are not working in person, except for essential and emergency services. Planned cultural and sporting activities are cancelled, while tourist information offices, all three libraries and sports facilities remain closed.
