Fifteen finalist works from the 2026 Rei en Jaume awards will be exhibited at Calvià Town Hall in Calvià, Mallorca, from 26 August. The selection comprises six photographs and nine paintings, chosen from entries submitted to the two categories.
Calvià Town Hall said the competition received 180 submissions overall, including 56 for photography and 52 for painting.
Exhibition opens with Rei en Jaume festivities

The awards also cover narrative and poetry in both Spanish and Mallorcan, as well as short fiction. Honorary awards recognise individuals or organisations with a notable commitment to culture.
