The programme began in 1992 and is exclusively for travel agents. RIU says the redesigned site is more visual and easier to use, bringing together changes developed over recent years to cut down everyday administrative work.

Agents can open detailed profiles of RIU hotels directly from the portal and check reservation data in real time. The site also includes tools intended to speed up sales.

The rewards behind the programme remain unchanged. Agents still earn points on every booking and can exchange them for free stays at RIU hotels. Those points do not expire while an account remains active.

Training material, technical hotel information, priority support, internal promotions and offers for agents’ own use also stay on the site. RIU says the update is designed to help agents know its hotels first-hand, strengthening their recommendations to customers and its ties with its global retail network.
