Mallorca: seven Port d'Andratx streets get new asphalt
Seven streets in Port d'Andratx, Mallorca, are getting new asphalt as the council works to improve their road surfaces. The work has continued over recent weeks, Andratx Town Council says. Its aim is to keep the roads in good condition and make it easier for vehicles to pass.
The streets are Azcarate, Alejandro Cardunets, Brismar, Fábrica, Mar and Peix. Work also covers the stretch of Colón between Levante and Isaac Peral.
Some of these streets are also due for pavement improvements to make walking easier. Lighting work will follow in the same areas under a new council contract.
The council has separately planned resurfacing for streets linked to a future school route. It says the work is intended to improve the routes pupils will use and make traffic safer in the school area.
