Ryanair's 18 new winter routes include Palma, Mallorca
Ryanair is adding new winter routes to Palma, Mallorca: the city is one of six in Spain sharing 18 new international links. On 27 October 2026, the airline said it was offering more than 22 million seats on flights to and from Spain this winter and expected passenger traffic to grow by around 2%.
Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Valencia and Málaga also feature in the expansion. Ryanair has not said how many of the new routes serve Palma, or how many seats it will offer there.
The clearest increases are elsewhere. Ryanair says capacity is up 6% in Madrid and 3% in Málaga, with 3.4 million seats at each airport. Barcelona has 3.6 million seats across 53 routes. Across Spain, the airline has 517 routes on sale and says it accounts for 23% of seats offered.
The wider winter schedule could still change. The Spanish Airline Association says airlines have planned 145.6 million seats in Spain, more than last winter, but warns that geopolitical uncertainty and higher fuel costs may lead to adjustments. Its president, Javier Gándara, says airline profit margins worldwide are shrinking sharply, with no clear sign of how long the pressure will last.
