Bars seal Ibiza viewpoint cavity used for sleeping

Bars now seal a cavity at the Sa Penya viewpoint in Eivissa, Ibiza, where someone occasionally spent the night. Eivissa City Council closed it off, according to a report dated 29 September 2026. The council says the cavity posed an obvious risk and had become a place where rubbish collected.
The council had the cavity cleaned a few days earlier, along with Sa Pedrera and Casa Broner. It then put up the bars.
