Mallorca’s s’Aigua Dolça sports centre in Palma opens to the public on Thursday, but members and people living in El Terreno cannot use its car park. The centre will initially open from 16.30 to 21.30, Monday to Friday.
Palma City Council spokesperson Mercedes Celeste said the council has handed the car park to the Municipal Parking and Projects Company (SMAP). The company must set aside an area for residents and manage their applications and deadlines. Celeste gave no date for the car park to open.
The centre has a 25-metre pool with six lanes, rooms for activities and changing rooms. Its opening hours will expand gradually.
