Sant Antoni drug raid: four held, 2,000 pills

Four people have been arrested in Sant Antoni, Ibiza, after the Guardia Civil dismantled three alleged drug distribution points. Officers searched three flats simultaneously in a central building on 15 September as part of Operation Sator. The homes were believed to be used for small-scale drug sales.

The raid uncovered 2,000 ecstasy tablets, 240 grams of ketamine, 227 grams of marijuana, 120 grams of hashish and 110 grams of MDMA. Officers also seized 43 bottles of nitrous oxide.

More than €30,000 in banknotes of different values was recovered, along with several mobile phones believed to have been obtained illegally. The Sant Antoni Guardia Civil post worked with the Reserve and Security Group and the dog-handling service.

The Guardia Civil says it will keep surveillance and intervention operations active in the area to tackle drug trafficking and protect public safety.
