Mallorca school gets €24,000 revamp in Esporles

More than €24,000 has gone into repairs and upgrades at CEIP Gabriel Comas i Ribas in Esporles, Mallorca, with the council completing the work on 8 September. Damaged walls, teaching rooms and the new library were among the areas renewed. The work took place outside teaching time to limit disruption and keep the school year running normally.

Walls and washroom repaired upstairs

Workers repaired damaged walls on the first-floor staircase and corridor, and also worked on the washroom in one classroom. They stripped back the affected sections, levelled the surfaces, finished them with mortar and repainted them.

Fresh paint, flooring and library shelves

The municipal works team also repainted the music and English classrooms, playroom, staff room, office, Room 21, new library, corridor and entrance on the ground floor.

New vinyl flooring was laid in the playroom, staff room and office. The new library received shelves so the space can be used by pupils and school staff.
