Formentera school year opens with three visits
Formentera opens the 2026-2027 school year on Thursday as Balearic Government president Marga Prohens visits three schools on the island. She will be joined by Education and Universities Minister Antoni Vera and Formentera Island Council president Óscar Portas.
Their first stop is CEIP Sant Ferran de ses Roques, where the three will speak to the media. They then move on to CEIP Mestre Lluís Andreu before ending the tour at the publicly subsidised Virgen Milagrosa school.
Mallorca also has two school visits planned. Mateu Suñer, the regional secretary for Educational Development, will visit IES Ses Estacions and IES Sant Marçal, while territorial director Alexandra Marqués will go to CEIP Antoni Joan Alemany in Menorca.
