Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, could see showers on Thursday, 15 October: rain forecast for Spain’s south-east coast may spread to the islands. Whether it reaches Mallorca remains uncertain. The Spanish State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) says showers could be locally heavy along parts of the south-east coast.

Moist air is bringing cloud to the Mediterranean coast. High pressure keeps much of the rest of Spain dry, with little cloud or clear skies. Temperatures are expected to change little overall and remain high for the time of year.

Away from Mallorca, very strong easterly gusts are likely in the Strait of Gibraltar and the south of Cádiz province. The province has a wind warning.
