Mallorca: Two solar plants switch on in Palma

Two solar plants start up in Palma, Mallorca, on Thursday: Son Magraner and Son Ripollet, developed by the Sampol group. Balearic president Marga Prohens is due at the launch at 09.30, the regional government says.
Sampol chief executive Carmen Sampol, director general for Energy and Projects Juan Antonio Vicens and Mallorca Island Council president Llorenç Galmés are due to greet her. A guided tour of one plant comes first, followed by speeches from officials and a meeting with the media.
