Sóller, Mallorca tops Spain for foreign car tourists
Almost four times as many foreign drivers parked in Sóller, Mallorca, as in the next-ranked Spanish destination this summer. The town takes first place in a 2026 study by mobility platforms EasyPark and Arrive, which tracked parking behaviour among international visitors travelling by private car. Marbella in Málaga ranks second, while Campos, Mallorca, is third.
Sant Feliu de Guíxols in Girona comes fourth. The ranking measures the Spanish places most often reached by overseas visitors using their own cars.
Germany supplied the largest group of foreign motorists, with more than 24,000 unique users over the summer. France was second, followed by Italy and the Netherlands on similar figures. Sweden completed the top five countries of origin.
Spanish drivers showed a different pattern, with activity more concentrated in large cities and inland destinations. Madrid led that list with three times the figure recorded in second-placed A Coruña. Marbella and Segovia completed the national ranking, with Marbella the only destination to appear near the top for both international and Spanish drivers.
