Mallorca’s Sóller train runs four trips each way between Palma and Sóller from 23 November. The winter timetable lasts through 22 December, with new departure times for the train. The Tren de Sóller company says it is adjusting the service to lower tourist demand during these months.

Trains leave Palma at 10.30, 12.50, 15.10 and 19.00. From Sóller, they depart at 09.00, 11.40, 14.00 and 17.00.

The tram between Sóller and Port de Sóller keeps its 12 daily departures in each direction. It leaves Sóller hourly from 08.00 to 19.00, and Port de Sóller hourly from 08.30 to 19.30.

Óscar Mayol, president of Tren de Sóller, says the change lets the company match train services to demand while keeping both the train and tram running. He says the aim is also to preserve Mallorca’s railway heritage by maintaining the facilities and historic rolling stock alongside daily services.
