Palma networking: more than 70 build business links

More than 70 self-employed people and entrepreneurs gathered at PalmaActiva’s speed-networking event in Palma, Mallorca, on 23 September to widen their contacts, raise their visibility and create business opportunities between companies.

Palma City Council said the event was presented by Lupe Ferrer, councillor for hospitality, commerce and self-employed workers; Juan Antonio Tormo, director general for self-employed workers; and Patricio Pujol, president of Asima Jóvenes.

The day began with a mindfulness workshop for entrepreneurs, examining how people think, make decisions, build relationships and react in their work or projects.

Participants then took part in several speed-networking rounds, making further contacts and developing the relationships they had already started.
