Palma, Mallorca, hosts four roundtables from 16 to 20 November, putting artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and the experiences of young and women entrepreneurs on the agenda. PalmaActiva is joining Global Entrepreneurship Week for the third year running, Palma City Council says. The programme is aimed at entrepreneurs, self-employed people, business owners and anyone with a business idea.

The first session, on Monday 16 November from 10.00 to 12.00, looks at how businesses use AI and robotics. Experts and entrepreneurs will share their experiences. At the same time on Tuesday, young people will discuss entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership in a session held with Asima Jóvenes.

Wednesday turns to speaking and communicating at work, with perspectives from specialists in public speaking, psychology, coaching, leadership and marketing. On Thursday, women entrepreneurs and leaders will discuss the challenges they have faced and what they have learnt.

A closing talk on Friday, from 18.30 to 20.30, will explore how the brain, emotions and patterns of thought affect decisions about starting a business. Palma will also appear again on Global Entrepreneurship Week’s Brussels panel, councillor Lupe Ferrer says.
