Storm Adam floods Formentera: 59 incidents, path shut
Formentera, in the Balearic Islands, has recorded 59 incidents after Storm Adam, and floodwater keeps Camí des Mal Pas closed on 19 October 2026. The PM-820 has reopened, but emergency crews are still working in the area. The Formentera Island Council says most incidents involve flooding or standing water.
Walls have fallen and landslides have hit rural areas. Teams are checking paths and assessing the damage, while the Local Police use a drone to inspect places that are hard to reach.
The council says its priorities are to deal with outstanding incidents, keep roads safe and restore access to affected areas. Council president Óscar Portas has urged people to remain cautious while the work continues.
