Mallorca: Prohens backs Storm Adam victims, thanks crews

On Mallorca, Balearic president Marga Prohens opens Tuesday’s parliamentary debate in Palma with a message of support for people affected by Storm Adam. She singles out those in the Valencian Community and Catalonia. It is the final general policy debate of the current legislative term.
Prohens praises the public’s response to alerts and precautionary measures. She also thanks emergency teams deployed across the Balearic Islands, including Spain’s Military Emergencies Unit (UME). She points to co-operation between Spain’s government, island councils, town halls, the Spanish government delegation and security forces.
