Mallorca storm alert stays yellow, Ibiza stays orange

Mallorca stays on yellow alert for rain and thunderstorms on 2 October 2026: Ibiza and Formentera remain on orange alert. Menorca is also on yellow alert. The Balearic Government’s Directorate-General for Emergencies and the Interior kept the warnings in place after the Meteobal weather plan’s technical advisers met for a second time that day.
Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has confirmed its weekend forecast. The weather is expected to remain unsettled, with rain possible, though it is not expected to be very heavy.
