Menorca hospital strike posters removed, PSOE says

Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

Menorca's Socialist party (PSOE) says posters for the 11 November general strike have been removed from Hospital Mateu Orfila. The party made the complaint on Friday, 6 November, saying the removal makes it harder for staff to get information from unions about the strike.

The PSOE says the allegation is particularly serious at a public hospital. It points to protections for union activity and the distribution of information under Spain's constitution and current law, and says public authorities should uphold those rights. The party has asked the hospital's management and the Health Department to explain what happened and ensure union information can be shared on equal terms.
