Mallorca: teacher recruitment set for 17 April 2027

In Palma on Mallorca, heads of public schools learn on Wednesday that the next teacher recruitment process will take place on 17 April 2027. The Balearic Ministry of Education and Universities gives them the date at a meeting about the start of the school year. The meeting brings together heads of secondary schools, vocational training and adult education centres, and institutions offering specialised courses.

The ministry also discusses how the schools are running and an upcoming transfer process. Education minister Antoni Vera attends the meeting at the ministry’s headquarters.

The ministry holds talks with public-school leadership teams at the start of each school year. On Thursday, it plans to meet heads of public nursery and primary schools. Vera has already met school heads on Ibiza, Formentera and Menorca.
