The Balearic government says international business networks already on the islands could help connect foreign communities with the local innovation sector. That could make it easier for companies, founders and professionals from different countries to build contacts and share knowledge. The government names no specific agreement.

The talks fit a plan to attract companies and skilled people to Parc Bit. The Balearic Consular Corps is also working to bring international businesses closer to the islands’ institutions. At a recent meeting on Mallorca, nearly 300 businesspeople from more than 20 countries came together to explore business and co-operation opportunities.
