A trough high in the atmosphere and a passing cold front are driving a wider change in the weather across the islands and mainland Spain. For Mallorca, the forecast lists no rain warning.

Elsewhere, rain and thunderstorms put eight of Spain’s autonomous communities under weather alerts. Parts of Catalonia and the Region of Murcia face orange rain warnings. In parts of Andalusia, south-east mainland Spain and Catalonia, storms could bring hail and heavy rain, with very heavy falls possible in some places.
