More seats and capped fares

Iberia and Iberia Express have scheduled 98 extra flights: 78 with Iberia and 20 with Iberia Express. The extra capacity includes 10,734 seats on the Madrid–Seville route and 9,984 on Madrid–Málaga.

Iberia is capping one-way fares on all its flights to and from Andalusia at 99 euros in economy and 149 euros in business until 8 November. It is working on further flights from 9 November.

Air Europa and Volotea add flights

Air Europa is now running two extra flights a day to Málaga and two to Seville. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, it adds a third daily Seville flight.

Volotea says it will put on nearly 100 extra flights between Madrid and Seville and between Madrid and Málaga from 13 to 16 November. Its one-way fares are capped at 75 euros for a basic ticket or 99 euros with cabin baggage of up to 10 kilos. From December, it plans another weekly flight on each route.
