The Archdiocese of Toledo says the date changed because of scheduling commitments among the institutions involved. Archbishop Francisco Cerro Chaves will lead the Mass with auxiliary bishop Francisco César García. Bishops from Cuenca, Guadalajara, Ciudad Real and Albacete are expected, along with Luis Javier Argüello, president of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia also plan to attend, according to the royal household. They visited injured people and relatives the day after the crash. The People’s Party has confirmed that its leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will be there too.
