Balearic used car sales fall, vans drop 13.6%

Across the Balearic Islands, 5,914 used vehicles change hands in September, down 2.9% on the same month last year. Used car sales account for 4,884 of those deals, also down 2.9%. Van sales fall more sharply, dropping 13.6% to 1,030.
The National Association of Vehicle Dealers (Ancove) published the figures on Tuesday, 6 October. Across Spain, used-vehicle sales fell by an average of 1.4%.
The year so far shows a smaller decline in the Balearic Islands. A total of 54,887 used vehicles have changed hands, 1% fewer than in the same period last year. That includes 45,070 cars, down 0.5%, and 9,817 vans, down 3.3%.
