€15 million for vocational training across Spain: the government approves a new funding round for a network of 75 centres on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. The Council of Ministers approved the money in Madrid after a proposal from the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport. It will help maintain and develop the network, which began in 2022.

The centres specialise in 18 areas, including hospitality, healthcare, renewable energy and cyber security. Education Minister Milagros Tolón says their work includes bringing new technology into classrooms and improving teacher training. The aim is to keep courses in step with changing job needs.

Public authorities responsible for vocational training can apply for the funding. Grants can reach €200,000 per centre, with the money spread across 2026 and 2027. The announcement does not say whether any centre on Mallorca will receive funding.
