Prohens opens vocational training year in Ciutadella

Marga Prohens opens the vocational training year at Ciutadella’s new integrated centre on Menorca at 12.00 on Monday. The Balearic government president will be joined by Education and Universities Minister Antoni Vera and Sea and Water Cycle Minister Juan Manuel Lafuente.

Her Menorca programme starts at 09.45 with a visit to Hospital Mateu Orfila alongside Health Minister Manuela García. They will tour the hospital’s different areas and its newly opened consulting rooms.

At midday, Prohens is also due to visit the Homers shoe factory in Ciutadella. In the afternoon, she will attend the opening ceremony for the 2026 Snipe World Championship at Club Marítimo de Maó.
