Palma, Mallorca: The Balearic Islands are still using their previous budgets, and government minister Antònia Estarellas blames Vox. She says the party voted with the left to block a limit on government spending. Estarellas makes the charge in the Balearic Parliament on Tuesday, 3 November, after Vox MP Sergio Rodríguez urges the government not to negotiate with left-wing parties.

Estarellas points out that Vox has voted with the left when it suited the party. She says she wants to see how Vox votes on the spending limit for 2027.

Rodríguez argues that no proposed law justifies talks with the left. Estarellas agrees with him that Pedro Sánchez’s government should be replaced, but says Marga Prohens’s Balearic government rules out talks with no party, including Vox.
