Palma, Mallorca: Vox politician María Ruíz says Spain’s housing decrees will cut the supply of homes and make the housing problem far worse. She made the warning on 1 October at Vox’s party headquarters in Palma, before a meeting of its Balearic branch. Ruíz called the decrees approved by Spain’s government “useless”.

Ruíz is a member of Spain’s Congress of Deputies and Vox’s deputy head of territorial organisation and institutional relations. She said her party’s aim is to remove Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and his governing partners as soon as possible. Otherwise, she warned, the future would be “very bleak”.
