Mallorca's three water bottlers win Tramuntana seal

Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana has three water bottlers carrying its regional seal: Font Sorda, Font Major and Font des Teix. The Council of Mallorca announced the awards on Thursday, 15 October, after representatives visited the businesses to see how they bottle their water.

The Distintiu Serra de Tramuntana identifies products linked to the area and recognises businesses that help maintain its cultural landscape. The Serra de Tramuntana is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The three bottlers bring the number of businesses with the seal to 37. It also covers producers of oil, wine, fruit and other foods, alongside craftspeople and organisations whose work is tied to the area's heritage and landscape. The council says the seal helps identify products made in the Serra de Tramuntana and promote them.
