Palma waterworks: three months near Plaza de l'Olivar

Three months of waterworks start in Palma, Mallorca, on Monday, 5 October: city utility Emaya will replace drinking-water and sewer pipes around dels Caputxins street and Plaza de l'Olivar. Palma City Council expects the work to take three months.

The project covers 67 metres of drinking-water pipe and 30 metres of sewer pipe. The contract was awarded for €181,500. The council says replacing the pipes should improve how these basic services work and help maintain them. Emaya has asked people for their understanding and co-operation while the work is under way.
