Balearic Islands: Wednesday showers as winds ease

Balearic Islands: Wednesday brings showers to the north and moderate easterly winds. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) also expects the moderate tramontana wind in the northern islands to ease later.
Moisture from the Mediterranean brings cloudy or overcast skies to the far south-east of mainland Spain. Across most of the rest of the country, the forecast is for settled weather, with little cloud or patches of high cloud. For Mallorca, the agency gives no separate island forecast in this update: it places the showers in the north of the Balearics.
