Fuel prices rise, but World2Fly expects little impact
World2Fly says the conflict in the Middle East has pushed up crude oil and aircraft fuel prices. The increases and price swings were particularly sharp in March.
The airline protects itself against changes in fuel prices. It says the higher costs should not have a significant effect on its finances or expected results in 2026.
Aircraft remains out of service after Cuba incident
A World2Fly aircraft has been out of service since an incident on 10 January 2026 at Holguín Airport in Cuba. The airline had to replace an engine and other damaged parts.
World2Fly expects the aircraft to return to service soon. It says the loss of the plane has had little effect on its flight schedule because it happened during a quieter period of operations.
