Mallorca young lawyers’ election: two teams in race

In Palma, Mallorca, two teams are contesting the Balearic Young Lawyers’ Association (Ajaib) board election on 30 October. Talia Martínez and Álvaro Martín are each standing for president. Voting takes place from 10.00 to 13.00 at the Bar Association’s Palma headquarters.

Martínez leads the team called ‘Avanzamos juntos’. Víctor Manuel Villar is standing for vice-president, María Engracia Cintas for secretary and Marc Franco for treasurer. Sandra González is seeking another board seat.

Martín heads ‘Somos nosotros’, with Luis Baena standing for vice-president. Antonio Guerrero is its candidate for secretary, Alexandra Kudelska for deputy secretary and Marco Alarcón for treasurer. Cristina Conrado and José Luis Valdivia are standing for the two remaining board seats. The Bar Association announced both teams on Monday.
