OPENING TOMORROW! – 1st Amateur Theatre Competition

Performance of “OPENING TOMORROW!” by Tremolons Teatre as part of the 1st Amateur Theatre Competition at Teatre de Petra. SYNOPSIS: An imminent opening night, a mishap-filled dress rehearsal, doors that will not open, and sardines that mysteriously disappear. With these chaotic and promising ingredients, the Tremolons Teatre company presents this play, directed and adapted by Jaume Mut, based on Michael Frayn’s classic “Pel davant i pel darrere”. A tax inspector, an escape to Switzerland, an attachment order, prison, estate agents, early-retired thieves and housewives who have spent their whole lives with the family. Faced with this avalanche of problems, the big question of the performance will be whether the protagonists can manage to sell the manor house to an Arab sheikh in order to save themselves from the final catastrophe. As the company itself warns: “Teatre de Sòria will never be the same again.”
