Azotea Club de Mar opens at Palma marina
Azotea Club de Mar opened on 18 August 2026 at Club de Mar-Mallorca in Palma, Mallorca, as Azotea Grupo’s latest restaurant concept. Located on the upper level of the historic nautical club overlooking Palma Bay, it joins Saltao in the club’s food and drink offering.
The restaurant is intended primarily for club members, while non-members may book for dinner and at weekends. Manuel Berganza, executive chef of Azotea Grupo, leads a menu centred on fish and seafood, including tuna tartare with tomato water and olive, red prawn carpaccio with caviar and lemon, and grilled langoustines with hollandaise sauce.
Design and existing dining offer
Marta de la Rica designed the interiors, using natural textures and a colour palette inspired by the Mediterranean setting. The marina, boats and bay are incorporated into the restaurant’s surroundings.
The venue joins Saltao, which serves Peruvian cooking with Mediterranean influences and is run by Víctor Gutiérrez and Paula Gutiérrez. Gutiérrez also leads Tayta, described by Azotea Grupo as Spain’s only Peruvian restaurant with a Michelin star. Azotea Grupo has more than 15 hospitality projects across Madrid, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands.
Club de Mar-Mallorca redevelopment
The opening comes after Club de Mar-Mallorca underwent a major transformation backed by an investment of 95 million euros. The work renewed the Mediterranean nautical club and strengthened its connection with the city of Palma.
