Mallorca’s Camino des Raiguer reopens to traffic
On Mallorca, the Camino des Raiguer between Alaró and Consell is open to traffic again after work to improve its surface. Alaró Town Council announced the reopening on Tuesday, 3 November. It says the work has made the road safer for people who use it regularly.
The road is shared by the two municipalities. Vitrac carried out the 205,700-euro project, with Alaró and Consell town councils each paying half. Alaró handled the contract and oversaw the work, while Consell prepared the technical plans.
Both councils say the road is now in better condition for residents, visitors and cycle tourists travelling between the two towns.
