Mallorca crash kills 23-year-old; cocaine-positive suspect
A 23-year-old woman died after a car rolled over and hit a tree on the Ma-4020 near Porto Cristo, in Manacor, Mallorca, on Sunday night. The man arrested on suspicion of causing the crash tested positive for alcohol and cocaine. A judge in Manacor remanded him in custody without bail on Thursday.

The crash happened at about 23.45 at kilometre seven of the Ma-4020. The car ran off the road to the left, overturned and struck a tree.
The 23-year-old was trapped inside the vehicle and died at the scene. A 41-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries, while another passenger, 35, was lightly injured, according to SAMU 061.
Arrest after hospital discharge
The suspect was taken to hospital after the crash. Police arrested him on Tuesday after he was discharged, on suspicion of causing death by negligence, injury and an offence against road safety.
After he appeared before the court, the judge ordered his pre-trial detention without bail.
