Mallorca food producers seek buyers at Ariany event

Mallorca food producers will meet potential buyers in Ariany, Mallorca, on 29 October, aiming to get more local produce into restaurants, accommodation businesses and shops. The Connecta local event runs from 09.00 to 12.30 at Son Ciurana. The Mancomunitat Pla de Mallorca is urging businesses in the area to take part.

Producers and buyers will have short meetings designed to help them make more contacts and explore new trading links. The event is an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Environment. Mancomunitat president Joana Maria Pascual says backing local produce also gives value to the Pla’s food, primary sector and economy.

Businesses can sign up through the Mancomunitat’s form until 12 October.
