Formentera motorcycle crash: girl, 14, leaves ICU

Formentera: A 14-year-old girl hit by a motorcycle leaves intensive care on Thursday, 15 October, after her condition improves. She is now on a paediatric ward at Can Misses Hospital in Eivissa, the Pityusan Health Area says. She had been in a critical condition at one stage after the crash.
The emergency medical service SAMU 061 said on Tuesday that the crash happened at about 20.45 in the Bungalows Es Pins development near Migjorn beach. It did not give the day of the crash. Medics first took the girl to Formentera Hospital, then flew her by helicopter to Can Misses.
